PET Urgent Care
PET Urgent Care is available for pets needing to see a veterinarian after normal office hours but not requiring a visit to the ER. Avoid long wait times and consider visiting PET Urgent Care for nonemergent cases.

Who We Are
PET Inc. was originally formed in the late 1970’s by a group of veterinarians in Anchorage who saw the need to offer critical care services to patients after hours. Since its origin, PET Inc. has grown into a dedicated 24/7 emergency and critical care facility and is now the oldest hospital in Anchorage.

Highly professional and kind staff. My dog was acting normal after a strange seizure-like event, but I'm glad I took him in to be seen anyway. Long story short, I picked him up the next day with a well-documented diagnosis and a treatment plan that should significantly our pup's quality of life. We are lucky to have this hospital in our town.

Pet ER was great. They took our dog in to the exam room immediately. Kept him over night in an oxygen chamber & gave him the medication that so far has really helped. Thank you very much!

Excellent emergency care of my dog. Very thorough instructions and medications to aid in recovery of possible herniated disc, and potential for paralysis. Took my Cat here for an emergency and they treated him very, the staff was extremely friendly and professional and helped calm me down. Definitely recommend them, they didn’t try to gouge my wallet they made all the prices clear and gave me options on what we could get done instead of surprising me with a fat bill. 10/10 ER for your pets.

Took my dog in after he’d had his way with the contents of our pantry. They were able to induce emesis, provide meds and get us home within a couple of hours. Would 10/10 recommend.
